Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Ambassador of Ghana to Myanmar H.E. Ms. Akua Sekyiwa Ahenkora

Nay Pyi Taw, June 20

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received H.E. Ms. Akua Sekyiwa Ahenkora accredited as Ambassador of Ghana to Myanmar at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa this evening.

Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut and senior mili-tary officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).

The Ambassador of Ghana to Myanmar was accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission Ms. Angela Aryee.

Cordial discussion focused on the condition of diplomatic ties between the two countries, military history of Ghana, bilateral trade cooperation, strengthening of the friendship and cooperation between the two armed forces in Myanmar’s pursuance of multi-party democracy aspired by the people, efforts for achieving internal peace and addressing of issues in Rakhine State in accord with the law.
