Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrives in Republic of India

At the invitation of Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa, Chairman of the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air) Chiefs of Staff Committee, a Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw International Airport at 7.30 am today.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General was seen off at the airport by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Deputy Head of the Indian Embassy to Myanmar Dr. Sumit Seth and officials.

The Senior General is accompanied by Chief of Staff (Navy) Vice-Admiral Moe Aung, Chief of Staff (Air) Lt-Gen Tun Aung,senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and officials.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General arrived at INS Dega military airport in Visakhapatnam of the Republic of India at 9.40 am local standard time. They were welcomed and greeted by Rear Admiral Kiran Deshmukh from Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Armed Forces, Myanmar Military Attaché(Army, Navy and Air) to India Brig-Gen Thein Zaw, the Indian Defence Attaché to Myanmar and officials.
