Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Myanmar

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Patron of Diplomatic Corps Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Pahlawan Dato Paduka Haji Abdu’r Rahmani bin Dato Paduka Haji Basir, who has completed his tour of duty, at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this morning.

Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army)and senior military officers. The Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam was accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission Mr.Shahrual Anaz Ismail.

At the meeting, they openly exchanged views on situations to further cement existing friendly relations between the two countries and the two armed forces, no discrimination on the grounds of legal and religious affairs against all ethnic people in Myanmar, needs of peace and stability in political and security measures for development of the nation, exchange of goodwill visits at different levels between the two armed forces of both countries,and exchange of trainees for training affairs.

After the meeting, the Senior General and the Brunei Darussalam Ambassador exchanged commemorative gifts.
