All the national brethren of the country should serve the national interest in harmony and unison

Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a peace delegation led by U San Pae, Vice Chairman of Peace and Solidarity Committee, NDAA (Mongla), at Shwe Tarigan Yeiktha of Triangle Region Command HQ this morning.
Present together with Senior General Min Aung Hlaing were SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief. U San Pae was accompanied by Vice Chairman U San Lu, U Kyi Myint and responsible persons.
First, the Senior General warmly greeted U San Pae and party.
In his discussions, the Senior General expressed pleasure to have a meeting with old friends again, saying Myanmar is a Union that is on the road to a federal system based on disciplined multi-party democracy. Hence all the national brethren of the country must serve the national interest in harmony and unison.
The government is working in the interest of the State and all citizens with sincere goodwill. In the education and health sectors, which are vital priority fields, cooperation will be rendered in accord with the policy of the State, followed by the efforts to achieve progress and peace and stability. Abundance of educated human resources is a must for development of a region and a country. Opening of basic education schools is required for all school age children to be in classrooms. As the country is a union, the entire country must be fluent in the official language declared by the State. Hene, the union education system shall be taught in the whole country. Arrangements should be made for the students, who have completed basic education, to attend local universities.
Industries, based on rubber that grows well in the area, must be developed till they can manufacture high-quality goods. The region must run farming activities for ensuring fish and meet sufficiency in it, and the State will provide necessary assistance. Moreover, it will help improve the road transport of the area. The government will conduct regional development undertakings, followed by the provision of healthcare services down to the rural areas.
In presenting matters relating to peace and stability and regional development, U San Pae first thanked the Senior General and other leaders for receiving them at the meeting. He also thanked the State and people for sending condolences for the demise of the former NDAA chairman. He then expressed empathy towards the country and people, who suffered losses and destruction during the Mandalay earthquake. NDAA (Mongla) sent help for the victims in cooperation with entrepreneurs and people of special region 4. Over 30-year conviction of NDAA (Mongla) centred on Our Three Main National Causes – non-disintegration of the Union, non-disintegration of national solidarity and perpetuation of sovereignty. He requested State’s assistance for further facilitation of road transport in the region and continued assistance for its health and education sectors. NDAA (Mongla) accepts no armed organization or political party in its area. NDAA (Mongla) will render cooperation in the undertakings for regional peace and stability. He then requested necessary guidance from the Senior General.
Afterwards, both sides cordially exchanged views on peace process, health, education and development undertakings.
After the meeting, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing exchanged commemorative gifts with U San Pae and U San Lu.
The SAC Joint Secretary, the Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) and attendees presented commemorative gifts to members of the Peace and Solidarity Committee, NDAA (Mongla).
