The high-level Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, which attended the fourth Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025) in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus and paid an official goodwill visit to the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation, left Baikal International Airport in Ulan-Ude in the Republic of Buryatia for Myanmar by a special flight this afternoon.
The Senior General and wife and members of the delegation were seen off at the airport by Head of the Republic of Buryatia Mr. Aleksey Sambuyevich Tsydenov and officials, Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation U Thit Lin Ohn, Myanmar Military Attache’ (Army, Navy, Air) Brig-Gen Kyaw Soe Oo and officials.
The Senior General and wife were accompanied by SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo and wife and members of the delegation on the return flight.
During the goodwill visit to the Republic of Belarus, the Senior General attended the fourth Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025) in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus, held exclusive talks with the Rotating Chairman of the EAEU President of the Republic of Belarus and the Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Council Board and toured factories and workshops, resulting in strengthening friendship and strategic cooperation in various sectors including economic and security sectors between the two governments and peoples and promotion of economic development among Eurasian Economic Union-EAEU.
During the visit to the Republic of Buryatia, the Senior General toured factories and workshops, strengthening cooperation in various sectors including friend-ship, economic, education, health, science and technology and industrial technology sectors.
The high-level delegation led by the Senior General arrived back at the Tatmadaw Airport in Nay Pyi Taw in the evening and was welcomed back by Vice Chairman of the SAC Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, SAC Secretary General Aung Lin Dway and his wife, members of the SAC, union ministers and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, the ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar and officials from the embassy and the office of themilitary attache.
