The high-level Myanmar delegation, led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently visiting the Republic of Belarus, toured the Belmedpreparaty pharmaceutical factory in Minsk this morning.
Upon arrival at the factory, the Senior General and thedelegation members were welcomed and greeted by Mr. Aliaksandr Khajayeu, the Minister of Health of Belarus, and officials from the factory.
Following this, the Senior General and the delegation observed the medical support vehicles displayed in front of the factory. They engaged in discussions, asking questions and exchanging views on the presentations provided.
Subsequently, they toured the exhibition halls showcasing medicines produced in Belarus and medical equipment used in treatments. They further discussed the displays, seeking clarifications and exchanging insights.
Afterward, the Senior General, and the delegation met with the Belarusian Minister of Health and his team in the factory’s conference room. They discussed potential collaborations in the health sector between the two countries, the use of Belarusian medicines and medical supplies in Myanmar’s healthcare system, and detailed follow-up discussions between officials from Belmedpreparaty factory and Myanmar’s health authorities.
After the meeting, the Senior General, and the Belarusian Minister of Health exchanged gifts.
The delegation then toured the Belmedpreparaty factory, observing the various stages of pharmaceutical production. They asked questions and discussed the explanations provided by the factory officials.
Belmedpreparaty is the largest pharmaceutical factory in Belarus, located in Minsk, with over 2,100 employees.
