A high-level Myanmar delegation led by Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Re-public of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Tatmadaw Airport in Nay Pyi Taw this morning to pay a working visit to the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of the President of PRC H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping. The Senior General and delegation were seen off at the airport by Vice Chairman of the Commission Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Commission member Prime Minister U Nyo Saw, Commission member Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dway, Commission members, union ministers, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Nay Pyi Taw Command commander, and officials of PRC Embassy and Military Attache Office in Myanmar.
Together with the Senior General, members of the delegation, Commission Secretary Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo,Commission member Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Commission member Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin, Union ministers Dr. Wah Wah Maung, U Min Naung and U Chit Swe, Chief Minister of Ayeyawady Region U Tin Maung Win, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers and military and civilian officials left the airport on the same flight.
The High-Level Myanmar delegation led by the Senior General arrived in Binhai International Airport in Tianjin at 1.10 pm local time, and was welcomed by Minister of National Resources of China Mr. Guan Zhiou, Myanmar Ambassador to PRC U Tin Maung Swe, PRC Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Ms. Ma Jia, and Myanmar Military Attache (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Zaw Zaw Naing.

Min Aung Hlaing was welcomed by Guard of Honour of PRC and cultural dance troupes in accord with the tradition of welcoming the state leaders who are on a state visit.
