Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently in Beijing of the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of President of the People’s Republic of China H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping,attended the parade to mark the 80th Anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War at Tian’anmen Square in Beijing at 8 am Chinese standard time today.
Present at the parade were President of the People’ Republic of China H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping, Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, invited Heads of State, governments, members of the high-level Myanmar delegation and Chinese people.
The Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Heads of State took the salute of the Guard of Honour of the People’s Republic of China and took designated places. The President of PRC cordially greeted them in individuals.
The Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Heads of State had documen-tary photos taken together with the President of PRC.
The Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Heads of State led by the PRC President took positions at the Tian’anmen Rostrum.
The PRC President delivered an address at the commemorative parade and inspected the parade columns by car. The parade columns marched past the PRC President and Heads of State in a military parade procedure.
The Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Heads of State attended the laucheon hosted by the PRC President.
The Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar cordially held talks with Heads of State from the People’s Republic of China, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Malaysia, the Republic of Armenia among other attendees to the parade to discuss cooperation measures.
