Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is in the People’s Republic of China to pay a working visit, accompanied by Commission Secretary Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo, Commission members, union ministers, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers and officials of the delegation, visited Tebian Electric Apparatus (TBEA) Company in Beijing at 5 pm local time.
On arrival at the TBEA, the Senior General and party were warmly welcomed by the com-pany chair and staff.
The Senior General and party were conducted round the displays on the power stations erected by TBEA, energy generation all over the world, mineral production undertakings, manufacturing and installation of electrical apparatus at the company office. They asked for more information, and joined in the discussions.
At a meeting held at the company meeting hall, the Senior General and party and the hosts cordially discussed functions of the TBEA, areas where the company can erect hydropower and solar power stations in Myanmar, generation of job opportunitiesand national economic growth through the construction of electrical apparatus manufacturing industries in Myanmar for domestic consumption and export, production of finished goods through the joint mining enterprises, and joint power generation in Myanmar.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing signed the visitors’ book of the company and exchanged gifts with the company chair.
