A dinner was hosted in honour of the 61st Anniversary of the Myanmar Police Force Day at Mingala Thiri Hotel here this evening, attended by Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Also present at the dinner together with the Senior General were his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, SSPC member Prime Minister U Nyo Saw and wife, SSPC Secretary Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo and wife, SSPC members and wives, union ministers, union level dignitaries and wives, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chair, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and wives, deputy ministers, heads of department, the director general of MPF and members, retired senior police officers, artists and officials.

First, the Senior General and wife and attendees were welcomed by officials.

Afterward, the Senior General and wife and attendees enjoyed the dinner together.

Members of police musical band and entertainment division of MPF, artists of Fine Arts Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, and artists of Myawady musical band under the command of Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare entertained  the  guests with songs before and during the dinner.

After the dinner, the Senior General and wife presented a flower basket and honorary cash award to members of police musical band and entertainment division of MPF and artists.
