Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the Myanmar-Russia-Belarus Trilateral Entertainment at the Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
The entertainment was also joined by Commission Member and Prime Minister U Nyo Saw, Commission Member and Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dway, Commission members, Union ministers, Union-level dignitaries, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, deputy ministers, Mr. Evgeny Grigoryev, Member of the Government of Saint Petersburg and Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the Government of Saint Petersburg, Vice Chair of Russia-Myanmar Friendship Association Mr. Alexander Ostrovskiy, officials from the Russian Embassy to Myanmar, entertainment troupes from Russia and Belarus, staff members from ministries, and guests.
First, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and attendees watched a video clip “From cultural exchange to the Friendship”.
The Vice Chair of the Russia-Myanmar Friendship Association gave an introductory speech and introduced artistes from Belarus who will perform entertainments.
At the entertainment programmes, artistes from Belarus, the Fine Arts Department from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, the Myanma Radio and Television from the Ministry of Information and the Myawady Entertainment Troupe under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and staff from the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Myanmar presented the songs “Two Rus’s- Belarus and Russia, Two Sisters” and “Bells”, the royal choral dance under the title of “Nantheingi”, the songs “The River Flows” “Will say good bye with a cup of vodka”, “Papu Thuza” and “My eyes”, the dancing performance with the title of “Lebedushka” and the drum-playing dance, the songs “Tulips” and “Red Sloboda”, the active performance of a male dancer, the song “Oh, My Scythe”, the Kalinka dance, the songs “Belarus and Myanmar”, “Myanmar”, “Thingyan”, “Kupalinka”, “St. Petersburg and Myanmar”, “Bagan”, “We are With You Myanmar”, “Myanmar Hay”, “Katush”, “Matushka Zemnya Mother Land”, “Love me”, “All the Flowers”, and “I want to wish” with performances.
The Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar presented the flower basket to the entertainment troupes from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
The Vice Chair of the Russia-Myanmar Friendship Association and the leader of the Belarusian Band presented gifts to the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The Member of the Government of Saint Petersburg and Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the Government of Saint Petersburg presented the flower basket to entertainment troupes from Myanmar.
After the ceremony, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar cordially greeted the attendees.
