Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives British Ambassador to Myanmar

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received British Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Andrew Patrick, who had completed his tour of duty, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this afternoon.

Also present at the call together with the Senior General was Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The British Ambassador was accompanied by Military Attaché Col. Nigel Goodwin.

At the meeting, they exchanged views on relations and cooperation between the two armed forces of the two countries, endeavours for restoring internal peace, efforts of the Tatmadaw for winning the reliance of the State and the trust of the people, and cooperation of the Tatmadaw in the government sector and political reform processes.

After the meeting, the Senior General presented a commemorative gift to the British Ambassador.
