Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits booths in commemoration of 71st Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air), attends dinner

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, retired Commander-in-Chiefs (Navy), retired Commander-in-Chiefs (Air), senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and the commander of Central Command, visited booths in commemoration of the 71st Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air) displayed at Flying Training Base in Meiktila Station on the evening of 14 December. 

First, the Senior General and party viewed round the documentary photos on aviation history, documentary photos on training session of women, documentary photos on training of mechanical officers, other ranks and substitute-appointed servicemen of Tatmadaw (Air), scale models of aircraft and equipment for pilots at the booth to mark the 71st Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air). 

The Senior General and party signed the book in commemoration of the 71st Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air). The Senior General and party visited the book shop and salerooms of personal goods produced by the Tatmadaw. 

This evening, the Senior General attended the dinner in honour of the 71st Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air) in commemoration of the 71st Anniversary Day of Tatmadaw (Air) and successful completion of the ceremony to commission aircraft into services at Tatmadaw (Air) at Flying Training Base in Meiktila Station. 

Also present at the dinner together with the Senior General were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, retired Commander-in-Chiefs (Navy), retired Commander-in-Chiefs (Air), senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Central Command, commanders of airbases, officers, other ranks and families of Meiktila Station and guests. 

The Senior General and those present had the dinner together. The Senior General and party then enjoyed entertainment of songs and variety dances performed by the band of Tatmadaw (Air) and families of Tatmadaw (Air) at Thura Ohn Khaing Hall of Flying Training Base.
