Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received German Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mrs.Dorothee Janetzke-Wenzel, who is returning home after completion of her tour of duty, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here,this afternoon.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief(Army) and senior military offi cers.The German Ambassador to Myanmar was accompanied by the deputy head of mission and officials.
At the meeting, both sides cordially exchanged views on promotion of relations and cooperation between the two countries and the two armed forces, progress in constitutional amendment in Myanmar, and convening of the Union Peace Conference- the 21st Century Panglong and endeavours to achieve internal peace, the need for the people to make a correct choice of organizations and persons capable of serving the interest of the country as the constitution has given the rights and duties for every citizen in doing politics regarding the 2020 election and the need for the international agencies to know real situations in Rakhine State.
