A Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw International Airport this afternoon to attend the 7th Thailand-Myanmar High Level Committee Meeting in Thailand.
The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by the Senior General was seen off at the airport by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Naval Attaché Capt. Puchong Praditteera of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and wife.
The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by the Senior General comprises Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief as delegation members.
On arrival at Wing 6 of the Royal Thai Air Force in Bangkok of Thailand, the Senior General and party were welcomed by Deputy Chief of Joint Staff Gen. Choochart Buakhao of the Office of the Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and wife, senior military officers of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), the secretary and members of the 7th Thailand-Myanmar High Level Committee Meeting, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Myo Myint Than and wife, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) to Thailand Brig-Gen Khin Zaw and wife, and officials.
During the visit, the Senior General will attend the annual Thailand-Myanmar High Level Committee Meeting and hold talks with leaders of Thai government on bilateral relations and cooperation.
The secretary and party of the 7th Thailand-Myanmar High Level Committee Meeting led by Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) left for Thailand in advance on 31 August to attend the coordination meetings.
