Accompanied by the Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and wife, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, who are on a goodwill visit to Thailand, visited Wat Ratchabophit Sathi Mahasimaram Monastery to pay homage to the Sangharaja Sayadaw of Thailand.
First, the Senior General and wife offered oil lights to the Buddha Image in the monastery.
Afterwards, the Senior General and wife paid homage to the Sangharaja Sayadaw and supplicated on religious matters. The Senior General and wife together with Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and wife then donated the painting of the Shwedagon Pagoda, a replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda and offertories to the Sayadaw.
