Senior General Min Aung Hlaing concludes Thai goodwill visit

At the invitation of Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Gen. Tarnchaiyan Srisuwan, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing paid a goodwill visit to Thailand and attended a ceremony to receive the Knight Grand Cross (First Class) of the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant presented by the Thai King. The Senior General left Don Muang Military Airport (Wing-6) in Bangkok of Thailand this afternoon.

The goodwill delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla was seen off at the airport by Deputy Chief of Joint Staff of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Gen. Chaichana Nakkerd and wife, senior military officers from the Royal Thai Armed Forces, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Myo Myint Than, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Khin Zaw and officials.

On arrival at Nay Pyi Taw Airport, the Senior General and party were welcomed back by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo, senior military officers from the Commander-in-Chief’s Office, the Nay Pyi Taw Command Commander and officials.

The Senior General’s wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and the Yangon Command Commander, who are members of the Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, also arrived back on the same flight.
