Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspects progress in construction of Thiri Mingala Maha Sasana Beikman

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, senior military offi cers from the Offi ce of the Commanderin- Chief (Army), the commander of Yangon Command and officials, this afternoon inspected progress in construction of Thiri Mingala Maha Sasana Beikman with collective donations of families of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers for Yangon North District in the precinct of Kyauktawgyi Pagoda on Mindhamma Hill in Insein Township, Yangon Region.

At the briefi ng hall, the Senior General and party heard reports on progress of construction for the building by an offi cial through PowerPoint. The Senior General and party viewed round the Sasana Beikman where officials conducted them round the building. With regard to the reports, the Senior General gave instructions on more tasks to be done, repairing tasks, cultivation of shade trees and windbreaks, and others.
Thiri Mingala Maha Sasana Beikman started construction on 1 March 2017 with collective donations of families of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers. At present, construction tasks have completed by about 99 percent. Upon completion, the Sasana Beikman will be a venue for hosting religious ceremonies in a smooth process .
