Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, PVSM,AVSM, YSM, VM, ADC at the parlour of Zeyathiri Villa here today.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Commander-in-Chief (Air)General Maung Maung Kyaw and Lt-Gen Soe Htut and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).
The Indian Air Chief Marshal was accompanied by senior military officers from the Indian Air Force,Indian Military Attaché to Myanmar Colonel Naveen Mahajan and officials.
Both sides cordially discussed the amicable relations between Myanmar and India and between the two armed forces, experience sharing between the two air forces,training affairs, cooperation in measures to protect the airspace,efforts for ensuring peace and stability along the border and further strengthening of relations between the two countries by exchanging goodwill visits between the two armed forces.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Air Chief Marshal exchanged gifts and posed for a documentary photo.
