Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrives back from Laos

Nay Pyi Taw, October 13

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who was on a goodwill visit to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, at the invitation of Lao Minister of National Defence Lieutenant General Chansamone CHANYALATH left Pakse Airport in Laos this afternoon.


The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla was seen off at the airport by Myanmar Ambassador to Laos U Ko Ko Naing and wife, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air)Col Kyaw Kyaw Min and wife and Commander of Champasak Province Military Command Brigadier General Sukai Phimmasan and wife and senior military officers from the Lao People’s Armed Forces.

On arrival at Nay Pyi Taw Airport, the Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General and wife was welcomed back by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and wife, Commander-in-Chief(Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw and wife,senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Laotian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E.Mr. Lyying SAYAXANG and wife, Assistant Military Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Latsamy KEOMIXAY and officials.

The delegation members—the Senior General’s wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Lt-Gen Than Tun Oo and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and Commander of Triangle Region Command Maj-Gen Khin Hlaing— also arrived back on the same flight.
