SAC Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets officers, other ranks and families of Hainggyikyun station

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing went to the hall of local naval region command headquarters and met with officers, other ranks and families of Hainggyikyun station of SouthWest Command this morning.

Also present at the meeting were Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Brig-Gen Kyi Khaing and officials.

Regularly serving daily duties means taking training In his address, the Senior General said that the primary duty of the Tatmadaw is to serve the State defence duties. The Tatmadaw (Army), Tatmadaw (Navy) and Tatmadaw (Air) are to serve the security duties of land, water and airspace through the collective efforts. State defence duties must be served under the defence procedures. All Tatmadaw members must have three capacity to dutifully serve their assignments and they have to persistently take training. Regular serving of daily duties by all Tatmadaw members in individuals are taking training. They all have to avoid indulgence and exercise practices of having health and fitness. If not, their acts will harm their interests as well as that of families and organizations. So, they have to be healthy and fit with care in daily life. If so, every Tatmadaw member will be healthy and fit and have full strength to serve the duties.

Emphasizing improvement of individual life and disciplinary acts All officers and other ranks need to uplift their capacity and must always try hard to improve their lives with hardworking at the training courses at respective levels. They all need to read literature for having general knowledge as well as for development of their lives. Knowledge from reading will contribute much to them. They should share their knowledge with companions to create the military unity and good social environs. Leaders need to create good environs for Tatmadaw members and families under the fair administration. They have to control subordinate with commander spirit as well as fatherly spirit. Parents debar their children not to do inappropriate ones and point out things to be done. Disciplines of the Tatmadaw aim to arrange systematic manner and unity but these are not restricted unacceptably. As soldiers are to save life of each other in the battle fields, they have to obey orders and dutifully serve the assignments and not to cause dangers harming their lives. So, they have to understand adoption of the orders, directives and disciplines.

Operating military own and manageable scale agriculture and livestock farming tasks Currently, the Tatmadaw is serving the State responsibilities.

Outbreak of COVID-19 caused declines of State economy. As local economy was encouraged, current State economy develops to some extent. Officers, other ranks and families are to carry out military own and manageable scale agriculture and livestock farms to be able to contribute to their livelihoods. Military own agriculture and livestock farms can support welfare tasks of all Tatmadaw members, selling meat, fish and vegetables at fair prices.

Promotion education qualification The government arranges the chances for all citizens to complete KG+9 learn scheme. It is necessary to turn out well versed human resources in the country. All Tatmadaw members must give education heritage to their offspring to turn out new generation youths on whom they, Tatmadaw and the State can rely. The Tatmadaw is encouraging officers, other ranks and families for improvement of their education qualification. All Tatmadaw members must obey disciplines and dutifully serve assignments for uplifting the prestige of the Tatmadaw.

Presenting foodstuffs and cash awards The Senior General presented foodstuff for officers, other ranks and families to the local naval region command commander.

The Senior General and party cordially greeted the attendee officers, other ranks and families and fulfilled the requirements of officers, other ranks and families.

Yesterday afternoon, the Senior General heard reports on office staff, adjutant and quartermaster measures of the local naval region command, security, controlling the region, rule of law, development of the region and regional data presented by the commander of local naval region command headquarters.

After hearing the reports, the Senior General gave instructions on security, rule of law, agriculture and livestock farming tasks, disciplinary acts, education promotion of Tatmadaw mem-bers and accumulation of general knowledge.
