At the invitation of President of the Republic of Belarus H.E. Mr. Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, who is the rotating chairman of EAEU, a high-level Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport by special flight this morning to attend the fourth Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF) 2025 in Minsk.
The Senior General and delegation were seen off at the airport by Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win,SAC Secretary General Aung Lin Dway, SAC members, union ministers, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the ambassador of Russian Federation to Myanmar and officials at the airport.
Together with the Senior General, members of the delegation, SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, SAC member General Nyo Saw, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers and military and civilian officials left the airport on the same flight.
During the visit, the Senior General will attend the fourth EEF 2025, hold an exclusive meeting with the Belaru-sian President, hold talks with the Chair of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission, and visit factories. The visit will focus on cementing strategic cooperation in multi-sectors including friendship, economy, security between the governments and peoples of the two countries and enhancing economic cooperation with members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Then, the Myanmar high-level delegation led by the Senior General arrived at the international airport in Minsk in the evening and was warmly greeted by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Yuri Shuleiko, Deputy Foreign Minister (1) Mr. Lukashevich Sergey Vladimirovich and officials, Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus U Thit Lin Ohn, Military Attache’ (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Kyaw Soe Oo and Myanmar Consul-General in Minsk U Moe Kyaw Thu.
At the airport, the Senior General was honoured and greeted by Guard of Honour of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the tradition of greeting heads of state.
