Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing pays goodwill visit to Laos

Nay Pyi Taw, October 10

A Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw Airport this morning for Lao People’s Democratic Republic at the invitation of Minister of National Defence of Laos Lieutenant General Chansamone CHANYALATH.

The delegation led by the Senior General and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla was seen off at the airport by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Laotian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Lyying SAYAXANG and wife, Assistant Military Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Latsamy KEOMIXAY and officials.

The Senior General is accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla,Lt-Gen Than Tun Oo and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army),Triangle Region Command Commander Maj-Gen Khin Hlaing and officials as delegation members.

On arrival at Wattay International Airport of LPDR, the Tatmadaw delegation headed by the Senior General was welcomed by Brigadier General Kenchanh Nanthalangsy from Lao People’s Armed Forces and wife, Myanmar Ambassador to Laos U Ko Ko Naing and wife,Myanmar Military Attaché (Army,Navy and Air) Col Kyaw Kyaw Min and wife and officials.

During the visit, the Senior General will be meeting military and civilian leaders of LPDR and visiting significant places.
