Nay Pyi Taw October 14
A delegation led by Mr Evgeny Grigoryev, member of the Government of Saint Petersburg and Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the Government of Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, paid a courtesy call on Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at Tatmadaw Guesthouse in Nay Pyi Taw this afternoon.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were SSPC Secretary Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Ko Ko Kyaw and officials. The member of the Government of Saint Petersburg and Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the Government of Saint Petersburg was accompanied by Ambassador of Russian Federation to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Iskander AZIZOV and members of the delegation.
At the call, views on the improving friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and Russia and action for their further improvement, and pro-grams for extending cooperation in multi-sectors including economic, health, technology, cultural, tourism, youth and construction sectors were cordially exchanged.
After the call, Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and the member of the Government of Saint Petersburg and Chair-man of the Committee for External Relations of the Government of Saint Petersburg exchanged commemorative gifts.
