Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Secretary of the commission Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo and his wife, members of his entourage, the chief minister of Mandalay Region, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, the commander of Central Command and officials, paid obeisance to the Maha Muni Pagoda and renovation of the damaged religious edifice in its original architecture this morning.
First, the Senior General and his wife and party arrived at the Maha Muni Pagoda and greeed pilgrims cordially. Then, the Senior General and his wife and party offered emerald bowl meals, fruit meals, flowers and water and paid obeisance to the Maha Muni Buddha Image.
Afterward, the Senior General and party rounded the pagoda clockwise and inspected the renovation of damaged religious buildings caused by the Mandalay earthquake in their original architecture before giving instructions on durability and systematization of renovated and newly constructed buildings and other requirements.
Then, the Senior General and his wife presented the collectively donated cash for allround renovation of the pagoda to members of the pagoda board of trustees.

Afterward, the Senior General and party proceeded to the museum of items donated by foreign well-wishers and the attached jewellery hall and inspected the restoration of the diamond bud and pennant-shaped vane fallened by the strong earthquake, the gold, silver and gems, diamond buds, the pennant-shaped vane, the golden jewellery pot, nine branches of bells, four celestial kings, four tiers of Zune, the bulb of screw pine, nine tiers of the umbrella before giving necessary instructions on re-ports of responsible officials.

Then, the Senior General arrived at the staircase of the pagoda and gave necessary instructions on systematization of it because it was constructed for the peace of mind of the pilgrim public to officials and cordially greeted the pilgrim public.
