Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrives back from Thailand

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who was on a goodwill visit to Thailand at the invitation of Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces General Ponpipaat Benyasri left Don Muang Airport (Wing-6) of Royal Thai Air Force in Bangkok this morning.

The Senior General and party were seen off at the airport by Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces General Ponpipaat Benyasri, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Myo Myint Than,Myanmar Military Attaché (Army,Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Khin Zaw and senior military officers of the Royal Thai Armed Forces.

The Senior General and party arrived back at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport in the afternoon and were welcomed back by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief(Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff(Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air)General Maung Maung Kyaw,senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command.

During the goodwill visit, the Senior General attended the 16th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces’ Meeting (16th ACDFM), held meetings with Chiefs of Defence Forces of ASEAN countries and viewed round development undertakings in provinces of Thailand and production of factories.
