Tatmadaw delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits Armoured Training School of Chinese People’s Liberation Army in Beijing

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing currently in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China, on a goodwill visit along with Myanmar Ambassador to China U Thit Lin Ohn, Lt-Gen Than Tun Oo and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Tint Hsan at the invitation of Member of China’s Central Military Commission and Chief of the Joint Staff Department Gen. Li Zuocheng visited Tiananmen Square this morning and laid wreaths at the Monument to the People’s Heroes.

Next, the Senior General and party posed for a documentary photo together with senior military officers from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

Then, the Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General visited the Armoured Training School of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. They were welcomed there by the commandant of the school and senior military officers. At the meeting hall of the school, the commandant explained organizational set-up of the school, giving of training to foreign trainees and training for selected trainees. The Senior General asked some queries.The Senior General and the commandant exchanged gifts and posed for a documentary photo. The Senior General and party viewed training given to the trainees in the Simulated Training Center and the Experimental Center of Equipment Support Technology where they were conducted round by the commandant and officials.

Trainees from over 50 countries are studying at the Armoured Training School of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
