A Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Yangon Inter-national Airport this morning to attend the Defense & Security 2019 of ASEAN countries to be held in Thailand and the ADMM-Plus (VIP Program) to be conducted in China.
The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by the Senior General was seen off at the airport by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of Yangon Command Maj-Gen Thet Pon and senior military officers, Thai Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Chen Hai, the Thai Naval Attaché of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, the Chinese Military Attaché and officials.
The Senior General was accompanied by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).
On arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, the Senior General and party were welcomed by Lt. Gen. Ekachai Harnpoonvittaya and senior military officers from the Royal Thai Armed Forces, Group Managing Director Mr. M. Gandhi of GML Exhibition Co. Ltd, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Myo Myint Than, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Khin Zaw and officials.
