Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attends dinner hosted by Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Gen. Tarnchaiyan Srisuwan

Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Gen. Tarnchaiyan Srisuwan and wife hosted a dinner in honour of the goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a goodwill tour to Thailand, and his wife, at Anantara Siam Hotel in Bangkok on the evening of 16 February. Also present at the dinner together with the Senior General were his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and family members, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and their wives, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Myo Myint Than and wife, and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Khin Zaw and wife.

The Chief of Defence Forceof the Royal Thai Armed Forces was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Jiraporn Srisuwan and senior military officers of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and their wives. First, the Senior General, his wife and delegation members were welcomed by the Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and wife. Then, they posed for documentary photo. The Senior General introduced four officers who are members of the goodwill delegation and won the best cadet awards at No 59th Intake of the Defence Service Academy, No 19th Intake of the Defence Services Technological Academy, No 119th Intake of the Defence Services (Army) Officers Training School and No 3rd Intake of Graduate Female Cadets of Defence Services (Army) Officers Training School, to the Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces.

Afterwards, the Senior General and wife and the Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and wife had dinner together with those present. Before and during the dinner, the military music band from the Office of the Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and the entertainment troupe of the Culture University in Ang Thong Province entertained the guests with songs of both countries and Thai traditional dances. After the dinner, the Senior General and wife and the Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and wife exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photo.

Afterwards, the Senior General presented cash awards to members of the military music band from the Office of the Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and the entertainment troupe of the Culture University of Ang Thong Province.
