Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, the wife of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Pr-ime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied the Senior General on his visit to the Russian Federation and held talks with Chair-person of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance of the Russian Federation Ms. Anna Nesterova at the Federation Council Office of the Russian Federation this morning local time.
Also present together with the wife of the Senior General were Daw Nilar, the wife of the joint secretary of the SAC, the wife of the Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air), Vice Chairperson of the Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation Daw Khin May Soe, the wife of the Myanmar ambassador to the Russian Federation and officials while the chairperson of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance was accompanied by officials.
First, the wife of the Senior General and delegation were cordially greeted by the chair-person of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance of the Russian Federation.
Then, they frankly discussed participation of women from governments and various bu-siness fields in the upcoming BRICS Forum, opening of branch offices of BRICS WBA in countries in the world and possibilities of opening BRICS WBA offices of Myanmar in other countries if interested, the needs to recognize the role of women in current international affairs, the needs to recognize and encourage participation of women not only in daily social activities but also in international affairs with bravery, trust, diligence, leadership and innvation, measures taken by Myanmar to enhance the sector of women entrepreneurship, further cooperation in the education and women’ affairs sectors between the two countries.
After the discussions, the wife of the Senior General and the chairperson of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance of the Russian Federation exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photographs together with the participants.
In the afternoon, the wife of the Senior General and the delegation visited the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and were conducted around the gallery by the in-charge and officials. The wife of the Senior General made some questions of interest.
The State Tretyakov Gallery is a world-famous gallery that houses the most important cultural art works of Russia, displaying characteristics and traditions and the mindset, historical traditions and arts of the Russians through artistic works. It is also a gallery that helps visitors including not only adults but also children to learn the high value and standards of arts of the Russians.
