Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, and his entourage, together with the Chief Minister of Shan State, the commander of Triangle Region Command and officials, paid homage to Presiding Patron of Kengyin Monastery of Kengtung in Shan State (East) long-living Sayadaw Aggamaha Saddhammajotikadhaja Bhaddanta Khemacara this afternoon.
After paying homage, the Senior General and wife supplicated religious measures and health conditions of the Sayadaw and donated cash for nine prerequisites, collected cash donations and offertories to the Sayadaw who returned Dhamma gifts to mark his 100th birthday.
The Senior General inspected conservation of Nawngton Lake in Kengtung and viewed round activities of residents taking sports exercises along the bund by car.
