At the invitation of President of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin,a high-level Myanmar delegation led by Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Tatmadaw Airport in Nay Pyi Taw by special flight this morning to attend the World Atomic Week Forum 2025 to be held in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The Senior General and delegation were seen off at the airport by SSPC Vice Chairman Vice-Senior General Soe Win, SSPC member Prime Minister U Nyo Saw, SSPC member Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dway, SSPC members, union ministers, Ru-ssian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Iskander Azizov, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Nay Pyi Taw Command commander, and officials of Russian embassy and Military Attaché Office in Myanmar.
Together with the Senior General, members of the delegation, SSPC Secretary Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo, SSPC member Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, union ministers U Nyan Tun, U Ko Ko Lwin, Dr Myo Thein Kyaw and Dr Thet Khaing Win, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers, and military and civilian officials, left the airport on the same flight.
The special flight carrying the Senior General and delegation made a stopover at Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk, Russian Federation, and the Senior General and delegation were welcomed by Novosibirsk Governor Mr. Travnikov Ahdrey Aleksan-drovich and officials at the airport.
At the Airport lounge, Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Com-mission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and the governor cordially exchanged views on further promotion of bilateral cooperation.
During the talks, Myanmar traditional dishes, tea-leave salad, tea and steamed hilsa, prepared in Myanmar were served, and the government and party enjoyed the food very much. The Senior General explained the uniqueness of Myanmar traditional cuisines.
After the meeting the Senior General and the governor ex-changed gifts.
The Senior General and delegation left for Moscow by special flight. They were seen off by the governor and party.
The Senior General and delegation arrived at Vnukovo Inter-national Airport in Moscow in the evening, and were warmly welcomed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mr. Andrey Rudenko and officials, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Thit Lin Ohn, and Myanmar Military Attache (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Kyaw Soe Oo.
