Acting President of the Re-public of the Union of Myanmar Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a working visit to the Russian Federation, received Adviser to the President of Russian Fe-deration Mr. Anton Kobyakov at Radission Collection Hotel this evening.
Also present together with the Senior General were SSPC Secretary Joint Executive Chi-ef General Ye Win Oo, SSPC member Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Thit Linn Ohn and officials. The Adviser to the President of Russian Federation was accompanied by Honorary Consul General and Director General of RC Investment Fund Mr. Sergey Shatirov and officials.
At the meeting, cordial discussions were centred on holding a free and fair multi-party democracy general election in Myanmar, transferring the State duties in accord with the democratic principles after the election, support and recognition for the Myanmar election from international community including the Russian Federation, and adoption and step-by-step implementation of a roadmap on economic cooperation in the interest of the two countries and the peoples of both countries.
After the meeting, Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Adviser to the President of Russian Federation Mr. Anton Kobyakov and Honorary Consul General and Director General of RC Investment Fund Mr. Sergey Shatirov exchanged commemorative gifts.
