The high-level Myanmar delegation led by Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who was on a working visit to Kazakhstan at the invitation of its President H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, left Astana Airport in Kazakhstan for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar by special flight this morning.
The special flight carrying the Senior General made a stopover at Kunming Airport in Kunming, the People’s Republic of China, and was warmly welcomed by member of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and Secretary of Political Legal Affairs Commission of the Yunnan Provincial Committee Mr. Hu Dapeng, Special Envoy for South-east Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC H.E. Mr. Deng Xiju and officials at the airport.
Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held talks with Mr. Hu Dapeng at the airport lounge, and a wide array of views on strong paukphaw relations between China and Myanmar, which are two good neighbours and trusted friends, Chinese aid that arrives in time every time Myanmar faces a natural disaster, including an earthquake and further assistance that will come, bilateral cooperation China and Myanmar is going to carrying out at full throttle for maintaining peace and stability at the common border, cooperation in anticross-border crime, soonest completion of the projects and agreements contained in the China-Myanmar economic corridor, promotion of connections and trade between Myanmar and Yunnan Province of China, further strengthening beneficial relations between the two countries and peoples were cordially exchanged.
Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and delegation continued their homebound flight, and were seen off by Mr. Hu Dapeng and party.
