Nay Pyi Taw October 24
Final and prize-giving ceremony of the 62nd Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services’ Trophy Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) Football Tournament for 2025 was held at Zeyathiri Tatmadaw Sports Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw this evening. Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing watched the match and presented prizes.

Also present together with the Senior General were wife, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, SSPC Vice Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, SSPC member Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin and wife, union level dignitaries, union ministers and wives, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and wives, the Nay Pyi Taw Command commander, officers, other ranks and families of office/department of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air), officers, other ranks and families of battalions and units under the com-mand of Nay Pyi Taw Command, trainees of Tatmadaw Football Academy, invited guests and members of the competing teams.

Teams from the Camp Commandant Office of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and Yangon Command played in the final. The two finalists exerted best efforts to attack one another and score the opener, but first-half ended in a goal-less draw.
In the second also, both teams put pressure on each other, but they failed to change the result till the final whistle. The football match continued and the Camp Commandants Office team got the winning goal in the first half and won the final.
The final match ended, followed by the prize-presentation ceremony. Quartermaster General Lt-Gen Zaw Hein presented medals and cash awards individually to the position-wise best player award winners and player of the tournament award winner, Chairman of Tatmadaw Sports and Physical Education Administration Board Adjutant General Lt-Gen Phone Myat, to third-prize winner Central Command team, Lt-Gen Ni Lin Aung of Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), to second-prize winner Yangon Command team.


SSPC Vice Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win present a fair play trophy and cash award to Southern Command team.
Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Un-ion of Myanmar, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing presented the championship trophy, additional trophy and cash awards to the Camp Commandant Office team through the team manager.
The Senior General and party cordially greeted the footballers.
