Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Commander-in-Chief of  Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives a delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force

Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Comman-der-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF)Air Chief Marshal Sakesan Kantha at the parlour of Zeyathiri Villa here this morning.

Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were SSPC Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief. The Thai Air Chief Marshal was accompanied by senior military officers from Royal Thai Armed Forces and Thai Military Attache (Air) to Myanmar.

Cordial discussions at the meeting were centred on developing and improving ongoing friendship and cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, exchange of goodwill visits and continuous cooperation between the armed forces and the air force of the two countries, holding of a multi-party democracy general election in Myanmar, eagerness of the people in going to the polls, success in holding the election due to the non-appearance of major complaints, holding of Hluttaw meetings in the near future, endeavours of the Tatmadaw that never change despite the changes in governments to strengthen the multi-party democratic system as aspired by the people, cooperation in training programs and further promotion of friendship and cooperation between the two militaries.

After the call, the Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission and the Thai Air Chief Marshal exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for documentary photos together with the attendees.
