Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrives back from China

The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who attended the Defense & Security 2019 held in Thailand and the ADMM-Plus (VIP Program) in China left the interna-tional airport in Guilin of China this noon.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw dele-gation led by the Senior General was seen off at the airport by Assistant Chief of Staff Major General Chen Mintian and senior military officers from Southern Theater Command, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) to China Brig-Gen Zaw Oo and officials.

In the evening, the Senior General and party arrived back at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport where they were welcomed back by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Myint Maw, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Chen Hai, the Chinese Army Attaché and officials.

During the visit, the Senior General and party attended the Defense & Security 2019 and the ADMM-Plus (VIP Program), held cordial meetings with chiefs of armed forces who attended the ceremony and chiefs of armed forces from China and Thailand, and visited significant places and development of industries.

Military officers who accompanied the Senior General and delegation members representing Myanmar Tatmadaw who took part in the ADMM-Plus (VIP Program) also arrived back on the same flight.
