Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrives back after attending Defence & Security 2017 for ASEAN countries

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok of Thailand this morning after attending the Defence & Security 2017 for ASEAN countries held in Thailand.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General was seen off at the airport by Joint Chief of Staff Gen. Ponpipaat Benyasri of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and senior officers, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Myo Myint Than, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Khin Zaw and officials.

In the afternoon, the Senior General and party arrived back at the Yangon International Airport where they were welcomed back by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Khin Aung Myint and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of Yangon Command Maj-Gen Thet Pon, Thai Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Jukr Boon-Long, and the Naval Attaché and the Air Force Attaché of the Royal Thai Armed Forces to Myanmar.

Lt-Gen Nyo Saw and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) who accompanied the Senior General also arrived back on the same flight.
