Tatmadaw delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing leaves to attend 15th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces  Informal Meeting (ACDFIM)

A Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw Airport this morning to attend the 15th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting (ACDFIM) to be held in Singapore.

The Senior General and delegation were seen off at the airport by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Ambassador of Singapore to Myanmar H.E. Mrs. Venessa Chan and officials.

The Senior General is accompanied by members of the delegation Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). During the trip, the Senior General will attend the 15th ACDFIM and hold separate bilateral talks with ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces.

The Senior General and delegation arrived at Paya Lebar Airbase of the Singaporean Armed Forces in the afternoon and were welcomed there by Myanmar Ambassador to Singapore U Htay Aung, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Col Hsan Nyunt Oo and senior military officers of the Singaporean Armed Forces.
