Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing pays goodwill visit to Thailand

At the invitation of Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Gen. Tarnchaiyan Srisuwan, a Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left the Yangon International Airport this afternoon.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw good-will delegation led by the Senior General was seen off at the airport by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), the commander of Yangon Command, Thai Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Jukr Boon-Long, the Thai Military Attaché of the Royal Thai Navy, the Thai Military Attaché of the Royal Thai Air Force and officials.
The Senior General was accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief as delegation members.

At the Wing-6 of Don Muang military airport in Bangkok of Thailand, the Senior General and party were welcomed by Chief of Joint Staff Gen. Ponpipaat Benyasri of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and wife, senior officers of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Myo Myint Than, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Khin Zaw and officials.

During the visit, the Senior General will hold separate meetings with military and civilian leaders of Thailand to talk about friendly relations between the two countries and cooperation matters and pay visits to significant places.
