Dinner to mark the 77th Anniversary Armed Forces Day hosted

Dinner and reception to mark the 77th Anniversary Armed ForcesDay hosted  by Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla were held at the square of Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.

While the dinner started, fireworks were set off at the parade ground and Bayintnaung Villa to commemorate the 77th Anniversary Armed Forces Day.

The reception and dinner was attended by Vice Chairman of the State Administrtion Coincil Deputy Commanderin-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, members of the Council, secretary and joint-secretary, the Chief of Justice of the Union, the Chairman of Constitutional Tribunal, the Chairman of the Union Election Commission, Union ministers, the Union Attorney-General, the Union Auditor-General, the chairman of Union Civil Service Board, the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, the Governor of the Central Bank and their wives, family members of the Thirty Comrades, family members of the retired Commanders-in- Chief of Defence Services, retired Tatmadaw senior officers,

senior military officers from the Office of the Commanderin- Chief (Army, Navy and Air) and wives, Independence Mawgun award winners (first, second and third classes), judges of the Union Supreme Court, members of the Constitutional Tribunal and Union Election Commission and advisers, deputy ministers, retired Tatmadaw member ambassadors who served as servicemen and their wives, members of Nay Pyi Taw Council, parade and column commanders who participated in the military parade, military attachés and officials from foreign military attaché offices, delegations of NCA signatory ethnic armed organizations, family members and relatives of Aung San Thuriya title winners, officers and other ranks who won Thura title and other military gallantry medals and their families and relatives, members of War Veteran Organization, representatives of people’s militias (transform), people’s militias (original) and border guard central advisory committees, retired military officers who served as directors general and managing directors at various ministries, retired directorsgeneral of Myanmar Police Force, Fire Brigade and Myanmar Red Cross Society, Officials of YMBA, Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation, Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association and Interfaith Friendship Organization (Central), artistes who participated in the Tatmadaw commemorative features, winners in the competitions of military marching songs, soldier songs, poems, short stories and novels, invited artists, donors, officials of Press Council, and film, Thabin and music associations and Strategic Studies Team, students and faculty members of the University for Development of National Races and guests.

Firstly, the Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla cordially greeted the people who attended the reception and dinner.

Before and during the dinner, artistes from the Myawady Entertainment Troupe under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare of the Office of the Commanderin Chief (Army) presented entertainments with songs.

As a gesture of honouring the 77th Anniversary Armed Forces Day, a large number of drones in groups created the images such as the archway of the parade ground and the letters of 77th Armed Forces Day, the map of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, emblems of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), statues of three kings, tank, vessel and helicopter, saluting design of the Senior General, the letter of honouring the 77th Armed Forces Day and launching the fireworks.

After the dinner, the Senior General and party presented the flower baskets to the military personnel who performed entertainments and cordially greeted the attendees.Then, the fireworks were launched to mark the successful completion of the ceremony.

The Senior General and wife and attendees enjoyed the Myanmar songs sung by male and female soldiers and famous artistes to the accompaniment of Myawady music band at Thabin Hall and presented honorary bouquets to the performers.
