Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepts Credentials of Ambassador of Pakistan to Myanmar

Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the Credentials from the newly accredited Ambassador of Pakistan to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Tariq Karim at the parlour of the Credentials Hall of the Office of the National Defence and Security Council here at 10 am today.
Afterward, they cordially discussed the strong diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Pakistan and ongoing efforts to further cement friendship and cooperation between the two countries, promotion of cooperation in trade, economic, defence, health, and political sectors and religious and tourism sectors, means to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, and sending of Pakistani observer teams to the multiparty democracy general elections that will be held in Myanmar soon.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Pakistani ambassador posed for documentary photos.
Also present were SSPC Secretary General Ye Win Oo, SSPC member Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe  and  Director-General  of  the  Protocol  Department U Than Htwe.
